Summary
“I want you to meet my Maid of Honor,” Kanae beamed as she placed the pink haired woman beside her. “This is Kanroji Mitsuri and this is Iguro Obanai.” She gestured between the two of them. Obanai opened his mouth to speak, but Mitsuri beat him to it.
“We met already, actually, at the front door,” Her cheeks reddened as she spoke. Her blushing seemed to be a common reaction. It endeared her to him.
Obanai and Mitsuri meet and fall in love over the course of a year while helping their friends plan a wedding. Obanai slowly recovers from his childhood trauma so he can live a normal life.

Most women leave the corps if they decide not to take it,” Shinobu explained. “It won’t affect your future fertility either.” Mitsuri brought the cup to her lips, unable to tip the cup ever so slightly to take the first sip.
Mitsuri should drink this. She should drink it and terminate it. She was unmarried, a Hashira, and her family would be shamed knowing their eldest daughter was a tramp. Except another image came to mind. A dark haired baby with two colored eyes and tears started pouring down her cheeks. He looked up at her in awe and she could not replace the image with anything else.
“I can’t do it,” she whispered. “I can’t do it.” Shinobu’s eyes widened as Mitsuri shook her head and set down the cup.

He glanced at the wooden frame around him. Obanai had lived here ever since he could remember.
“Like me?” He repeated quietly. She placed her hand under his chin, lifting his face to hers.
“Yes, a child who resembled her,” she said, her thumb brushing against his right temple.

Summary
“When’s your birthday?” Senjuro asked. The boy of six years looked up from his spot on Ruka’s lap. She looked frailer, the bones in her hands and wrist more prominent than three months ago. Her body was wasting away to an unknown disease. Though he lived here for nearly a year he still jumped when she made sudden movements or raised her voice. For his benefit she tried to stay within his field of vision as his right eye was nearly blind.
“In the fall when the leaves start to turn,” Obanai answered. He never had the chance to ask his family the exact date. They told him his age changed each year when the leaves changed from green to yellow and eventually brown as they died. How befitting for the boy who murdered his family. Each leaf falling, never to recover or change.
Ruka studied him and he shifted uncomfortably. The Rengokus had intense eyes no matter how they softened their brows. Noticing his discomfort she looked down at her youngest son.
“If you don’t know the exact date, you can share my birthday, Obanai,” Ruka said.

Summary
The morning light cast shadows over his wife’s face. Her eyes were shut, lost in a dream. Obanai ran his hand over her long hair, making her sigh. His eyes traveled from her face to her swollen stomach. He loved seeing her pregnant. It was the first dream she had told him when they became friends telling one another their hopes for the future. Mitsuri wanted a large family with three kids at least. At the time, he had been under the impression they were only friends despite his growing feelings for her. She was someone who deserved the world and then more.
This will be a small collection of Mitsuri and Obanai becoming parents and raising their first baby.

Without hesitation, Kaburamaru pulled his boy and the girl together with his whole body. Mitsuri made another high pitch sound while Obanai tried to pull away. Now Obanai just had to wrap himself around her. Why was his boy resisting? The white snake coiled tighter to bring the two face to face.
“What are you doing?” Obanai asked. His scent changed and so did the girl’s. Kaburamaru situated himself so he could see both of their faces.

Kamado was strong, compassionate, and seemed to like Mitsuri as she was. The boy wouldn’t be the worst choice. Bitterness filled his gut.
“Tanjiro?” She looked up towards the sky in thought. She kicked out her legs absentmindedly. His eyes lowered to her feet and traveled up her green socks, following the lines up to her thighs. If she confessed to liking the brat, Obanai would have to throw his unrequited love away.
