It's 2 years into the journey to Erid. Ryland Grace is getting frustrated being cramped in the small Hail Mary.
On day, the impossible seems to happen. He see something outside the Hail Mary, something man made. Nothing could have prepared him for what he found insideSimon has been kn the Iron Lung for so long he's lost count. At one point he passed out, he's not sure when. He's not even fully sure he's alive. However, when he wakes he sees a winged figure cloaked in light and now he's absolutely positive that he's dead.
AKA; Grace is from an alternate universe where Humans have wings, Simon isn't and mistakes Grace for an angel when he wakes up.

Summary
Simon wakes up in a new place with plants and a beach and an angel that takes care of him and keep telling him that he's not an angel, he thinks that maybe the angel just wants him to feel more normal about having a literal divine being so close all of the time.

Grace wants to know where the hell this man came from, why did the eridians just shoved the poor guy in the biodome, why he doesn't have wings, why he looks like he went through hell and why he is actively but slowly mutating into... Something that Grace isn't sure what it should be yet. And he really wants Simon to stop thinking Ryland is an angel.

Fanfic of another fanfic, heavily inspired by "Operation: I am Human" by StandingBi.
The Justice League believes Batman is a cryptid due to his tendency to use bird calls, hisses and grunts rather than words, odd mannerisms and other pieces of evidence that don't help Bruce's case. He struggles to clear the misunderstanding and continues making poor social decisions, which only fuels the fire.
Chap 1: Hal gets the crazy idea to flash a laser pointing during a Justice League meeting. Bruce believes a sniper has somehow broken into headquarters, and chases after the laser. Everyone gravely misinterprets the situation, believing it to be some sort of instinctual urge. It spirals into something comedic, and entirely avoidable.
+ Various instances of the JL charting Bruce’s poor social skills to an animalistic instinct.

"Raccoons are too smart for that, baby bird," says Dick, blithely, and swipes up one of the bait-cookies anyway, biting into it with an appreciative little hum.
Tim finds somewhere else to look — fixes his gaze on a spot on the far wall, trying hard to ignore the way the kitchen smells of cinnamon and nutmeg and sugar. His stomach twists a little, hopeful, and he tells it firmly that these aren't for him. They're Dick's welcome-home cookies.

But he feels the words like an icepick in his chest all the same, and a part of him knows. This version of Dick might not be real, these words might not be real, but what he's saying is true anyway.
"Are you fucking listening to me?" says the man in the red helmet. "The big bad bat's not coming to save you." There's a crash, and when Tim turns toward it, his desk's been overturned. His laptop is lying on the floor in a tangle of cords. If any of this were actually happening, Tim might be afraid that it was broken.

They always felt like a cruel joke. His body would jerk to awareness, a motion so harsh that it had injured him more than once in the past. The world would be all blurry and dim as his eyes tried to readjust to sight. It made the deaths seem like a bad dream.

Billy doesn't really understand why everybody is looking so serious and sending Superman so many sad looks. He thinks this is an adult thing, that he'll understand when he's older.
This meeting was made to talk about Superman's clone- which makes him jealous, he wishes he had a clone buddy too -and he doesn't know why everybody is so stumped.
He guesses as an adult among other adults, he obviously has to voice his own thoughts as well.
(Which, again, he thought was kinda obvious but adults were weird like that he guesses)
