Summary
Logan hasn’t celebrated any kind of holiday since Wade’s birthday, and even then it was pure coincidence he was even there for it. He doesn’t willingly participate in holidays, not since the X-Men. Not Christmas, not New Years either. In the 2 months he’s been living with Wade, he’s only celebrated one holiday, and this is no different when Wade starts to celebrate Opposite Day. He tries his best to ignore Wade and his stupid antics, but then he starts to think about all the things Wade has been saying and doing, and suddenly this holiday is all he can think about.
Or, Logan struggles to figure out what Wade is trying to communicate on Opposite Day, leading to a devastating miscommunication between the two.

There were a lot of things about Logan that slowly began to change as he lived with Wade and Althea in their cramped little apartment. He didn’t notice it at first, but it was like he was starting to be domesticated. I know, the thought was weird to Logan, too. It wasn’t something he thought he was capable of, and yet here he was. Living the closest thing to a domestic life you could have with a mercenary and his blind roommate. It was leagues better than his life back in his universe, but it all still felt abnormal to him. So many things started changing all at once before Logan could even get used to the first.

Wade had never considered himself an ‘open book’ type. As much as he was a walking chatterbox with no off button, he wasn’t the kind of guy who would overshare anything that mattered. There were many things he held close and firm to his chest, things that he couldn’t imagine anyone else knowing. Things that, if placed in the wrong person’s hands, could easily leave him heartbroken and alone. He knew damn well what that would feel like if he let his guard down.
Now, there was just one problem about this; that problem happened to be a comic-accurate five-foot-three-inches mini Hugh Jackman with steak knives between his knuckles that somehow, against God’s will, managed to read Wade like he was a collection of children’s nursery rhymes. Logan knew him, saw him, and it was the most terrifying and painful thing Wade had ever faced in his life.

He wanted to believe that Wade just didn’t like other people initiating touch. Logan himself had a bit of a hang up about it, and just because Wade was touchy feely with every living creature didn’t mean he liked it when it wasn’t on his terms.
He could’ve almost convinced himself of it too if, after a few days of meticulously keeping his hands to himself, of making sure not to invade Wade’s space or accidentally touch him, Peter hadn’t stopped by and casually shattered that hypothesis (and his heart) into smithereens.

Logan makes an observation without taking all the variables into consideration and, of course, comes to the wrong conclusion.4 times Wade flinches when Logan touches him +1 time he doesn't.

Wade knew something was up since yesterday. And honestly, it didn’t take a genius to figure it out. In the past months since he and Logan lived together, (as platonic besties slash roomies who sometimes watch movies together and rest their head on the other’s shoulder with minimal consequences) Wade learnt a lot about the other’s routine.
Like, to put a relevant example, the week every month where Logan became insufferably mean(er), not unlike a wounded animal and stayed in bed (Wade’s bed, he was forcibly sent to the pullout couch). This also including but not limited to constant growling, not showering, and not eating if Wade didn’t interfere.[...]
“Are you kidding? It’s my dream to bring release to the Wolverine’s knot- back knots.” Wade wiggled his lack of eyebrows. Logan cringed and mouthed ‘disgusting’ as the other continued talking.

I put your plate in the fridge.” He sounds tired, looks tired, definitely is tired, with a whole day of running after middle schoolers followed by class over in Bloomington behind him. Steve keeps saying it’s fine, he’s got it, and Eddie doesn’t doubt it, he just also knows how packed Steve’s schedule is these days. (Eddie never thought he’d be putting his campaign planning abilities to use helping Steve draw up a class schedule but here they are. It’s not the strangest thing that’s happened to him, of course not, but he thinks it’s worth noting among the unexpected.)
There’s a lot of that happening these days though, Eddie figures, so many that’s just the new ordinary for him.

Steve used to love Valentines Day, being able to spoil his girlfriend at the time with whatever sappy shit he could find used to give him so much serotonin. He would take them out to dinners, movies, those weird Valentines festival things, anything he could think of in-keeping with the monthly theme. Valentines used to be his favourite holiday, until Nancy Wheeler told him their entire relationship was bullshit, and he fell from his high horse.
Now all he does is sling those sappy ice cream sundaes for couples that walk into Scoops Ahoy in his stupid little sailor’s outfit, wishing he had someone to be eating ice cream with. At least he had Robin…
“Haha, you wish that was you, huh, Dingus?” she snickers as he passes a bowl of ice cream to a couple at the counter.
