Peter is choking. That is the first thing he realizes as he is regaining consciousness. He tries to cough, to blink awake, but all he sees is green and all he feels is… green. It’s everywhere. It sits in the stomach, his throat, even in his veins. He is nothing but green.

Though the voices (not angels, his mind warned), yelling his name through the haze, were new.
