Summary
It's been too long since Pyro's gotten clean.
He feels awful. His hair is tangled and lumpy, grease weighing down the white curls. His skin is itchy with dirt and blood. The clothes he's wearing need to be washed as well.
Pyro knows he needs to wash himself, but it isn't as easy as he wants it to be. To clean up, he needs water, and Pyro hasn't been able to touch water since he was turned.

Summary
The town they come across is small, only a little larger than Oakhurst was the last time Pyro saw it. It's rural, but too far off the beaten path. There are a few farms around the edge of the area, but most of the houses are pressed close together in the center of the clearing.
It's not the worst place he and Owen have stayed, but the people aren't welcoming in the least.

Summary
Pyro paces back and forth along the beach, his arms wrapping around himself as he tries not to panic. A shiver runs through him, his soaked clothes sticking uncomfortably to his skin.
The crew hadn't left him with anything other than what he had on, and this island they abandoned him on is out of the way enough from any common sea-lanes that it would be ages before another ship would pass by, if any did at all.
It's more likely for Pyro to starve to death waiting for someone to come to his rescue.
