Summary
When the vampire virus begins infecting humanity, people have different reactions. Hunters, like Daisy and Basira, or Trevor and Julia, make it their mission to take as many vampires out as possible. Gertrude decides to open a research facility to try to discover a cure for vampirism and her assistants Gerry, Tim, Sasha, and newbie Martin help. When they catch their latest vampire, Jon Sims, Martin feels sympathetic for the terrified man... then he develops feelings for him.

Summary
It wasn't her fault. It wasn't Jon's fault. It was a little bit Tim's fault, but his heart had been in the right place, so it felt wrong to blame him. Nevertheless things had become dire. There was a sliding scale of Jon's bad days with a fifteen minute break under his desk on one end and a full scale meltdown on the other. Jon wasn't ready to start biting people yet, but he was far beyond anything his blanket would solve.
