"Yes." Avery answers with no hesitation.
"You won't leave?"

Derek's expression softens. Avery could see it in his eyes behind the shadow of his gold helmet.
Then, without warning, Derek steps forward and pulls Avery into a hug.
Avery stiffens instantly at the sudden contact, his cheek brushing gently against the cold surface of Derek's armor. His hands awkwardly remained on his sidesโ clueless on where to put them. He couldn't exactly relax under his embrace. Not when he didn't know what this hug actually meant.
"What's in your inventory?" Derek asks.
Avery is taken aback once more. "What?"
"What's in your inventory?"
And that's all it takes. A moment of distractionโ and a decisive motion as he shoved Avery backward.
From then, Avery's cry echoed. "Wait!"
That was all that Derek remembered before everything went black. Or at least, that was the only part that truly mattered.
Or
Derek survives but now has to live with an ancient god within him.
It goes precisely the way it shouldn't.

One day at Spectre's realm, the entity had gotten bored, so it decided to play a little trick on everyone, turning nearly all of tye survivors and killers into fluffy cats, except for C00lkidd, Bluudud, Pr3tyPriincess, and 007n7.
It was interesting, but Spectre fucked up, because when they turned everyone else into cats, they accidentally added a LoveBug on 7n7.
It's not gonna be an issue right?
(Recommend reading LoveBug as this fic is basically a what if to that fanfic.)
