Summary
The primary purpose of this work is to finish the story that Roger Zelazny started. My goals are to do it without direct contradicting what I believe is “fact,” why keeping the thing where the heroes keep having to revise everything they know, and the audience along with them.
For source material, I am only considering the Corwin and Merlin Cycles, not any of RZ’s subsequent Amber stories because they muddy the waters even more than the Merlin Cycle does. And since they’re not well-known even among fans of the novels, introducing their content might be more confusing than excluding it to most readers.
My impression is that I will do three short novels, not too much more than 50,000 words each. My intent is to reach an actual conclusion in the story that was started when Corwin woke up with amnesia in the hospital. It is up to individual readers to decide how well I have done! I sincerely hope you enjoy my work...
