[A letter, addressed to Gale Dekarios, provided as supplement to the Dekario’s Eternal Preservation Patent]

Gale,
Your ingenuity shows no bounds! This wondrous creation of yours opens many new doors, for the Harpers and beyond, and I am forever grateful. Now, if your ego is sufficiently stroked, we can get started setting up blood drives in cities beyond Baldur’s Gate. If you are still willing to organize the Waterdeep operation, then I will send some Harpers to assist you.
Oh, and before he hears about your next steps and takes off like a fox with hounds on his tail, tell Astarion that I have some letters for him. It appears that everyone has decided I am his personal mailbox, now that he has endeavored to keep his location relatively secret. (And no, I will not tell you how I found out he’s been staying with you.)
I do not blame him, of course, but the least he can do for an old Harper is visit once and a while and collect his blasted fanmail. I even promise not to mention the Underdark Initiatives.
-Jaheira
P.S. In regards to the flyers for the blood drawing: perhaps you should add “Donator must be present for donations”. We have begun receiving some suspiciously sourced jars of blood of late.
