As The Narrator fell silent, presumably leaving to speak with a spider, Stanley turned to see a deeply offensive piece of wet cardboard pinned to the wall.

The Narrator decides feelings are fatal and gets the president (who is a spider) to build a machine that would wipe out all emotions. Meanwhile, Stanley sees an offensive piece of wet cardboard pinned to the wall.. Violence ensues.

After being arrested and transferred to city jail, Zib finds himself desperate to escape and warn his coworkers at Lackadaisy about Dominic Drago's potential discovery of the establishment still running.
