Damien:
- The best boy to cuddle with when it gets cold
- But that means he’s not the most fun to sleep next to durning the hot months.
- Your AC bill is crazy high in the summer to balance out his body heat
- But he makes up for it in the winter
- Either way there aren’t a lot of blankets on your bed
- He prefers to be big spoon
- He isn’t a very deep sleeper, so anytime you get out of bed he walks up too.
- He will 100% use this to guilt trip you into coming back to bed instead of working too late
- “I know you didn’t just try to sneak out of bed to finish that essay. It’s not due for another three days, come back to bed.”
- Rises with the sun. Out of bed at ungodly hours, even on the weekends.
- On the plus side, he’ll usually make you breakfast since he’s always up first.
- Even if it’s just something simple like pouring an extra cup of coffee or just a slice of toast, he always has something for you.
Huxley:
- If Damien is a big spoon, then Huxley is the whole bowl.
- This man wraps his entire body around yours until you are in your own person cocoon.
- He’s also a deep sleeper
- I really hope you don’t have to get up at night.
- If he isn’t lying on top of you, then he has you pulled onto his chest like his own personal weighted blanket.
- Speaking of blankets, your bed is absolutely covered in them.
- Most of them end up on the floor by morning, but they’re there nonetheless.
- Huxley is perfect cuddle temperature. He’s warm enough to help lull you to sleep, but not too hot to make you uncomfortable.
- He snores sometimes, but it’s a very light snore that sounds odd from someone of his size.
- He’s basically your personal teddy bear, and you’re certainly not complaining.
Lasko:
- He talks in his sleep.
- Poor Lasko can’t even catch a break in his sleep
- What he’s talking about varies.
- Sometimes it’s snippets of whatever he’s dreaming about. Other times it's left over rambles of what he was working on that day.
- Occasionally you can have full conversations while he’s asleep.
- He absolutely loves being little spoon.
- However he tosses a little more than the others, so you probably won’t wake up in the same position you fell asleep in
- He’s the perfect middle temperature, he doesn’t run hot or cold, so cuddles year round are no problem-o
- He enjoys you running your hands through his hair or just having you scratch his scalp. He’s one of his favorite things, plus it helps him calm down
- He will gladly return the favor any time you let him
- He doesn’t snore, but if he’s in a really deep sleep, you can feel the air in the room slightly shift with every breath he takes.
Gavin:
- Well we all know Gavin’s favorite way to get you into bed… but it’s not what this is about.
- He loves just absolutely draping himself across you
- He will refuse to let go to let you out of bed
- Wrapping his arms around you is just one of his favorite things to do
- He technically doesn’t really need sleep, but he still likes to do it because he gets to hold you and it’s a great way to wind down
- On the nights when he's awake and you're not hell just lie in bed and hold you while watching you
- He spends the whole night thinking about how lucky he is and how he never thought he would feel loved like this
- His favorite way to wake you up is with kisses all over your face until you’re eventually kissing him back
- Definitely not a bad way to greet the morning
Poly:
- So you’re gonna need a bigger bed
- The five of you definitely aren’t going to fit in a normal bed, but that’s alright.
- There’s this weird balance of no blankets and too many blankets all at once
- Lasko is using about 8 blankets but Damien doesn’t have any
- The order of how you all lie in bed changes every night.
- In the winter, Damien sleeps in the middle with you on lasko next, and Hux and Gavin on the outside
- If Hux is lying in the middle, he pulls everyone on top of him.
- Lasko is worried everyone is accidentally going to smother Hux, but Hux is very adamant about being able to handle it.
- Very adamant. Please don't try to take this from him
- Damien usually sleeps on the edge because he doesn’t want to wake anyone when he gets up in the morning.
- Gavin is usually able to drag him back to bed for an extra half hour, but Damien seems to have a personal issue with sleeping in
- Next to get out of bed is Lasko, just because he likes to help with breakfast. And it means he's in charge of coffee.
- Everyone got him one of those nice espresso machines for a gift one year so now he can drink the fancy drinks he likes
- He’ll make a fun drink for anyone who wants one, but if classic is more your style Damien makes just a normal pot too
