At this point he would do anything to escape his fate. Even being boarded by a pirate ship and held hostage sounds better than what awaits him at the end of the voyage. And seeing the captain of said pirate ship, it actually sounds way much better.

Malfoy must get kissed all the time (because, come on, look at him), and was sure to realize immediately that Harry was completely inexperienced. But Harry couldn’t let him find out that he’d hardly ever kissed any girls— he’d mortify Harry in front of the whole school.
There was only one thing for it: Harry would have to pretend to be an experienced kisser, and try his best to kiss Malfoy *really well*.(Does Harry realize that he might have other motivations for wanting to kiss Malfoy really well? No. No he does not.)
