There wasn't even a glare on Jaeyun's face, nor any sign of anger. It was as if his emotions had completely shut down, leaving him in a state of hollowness.
Sunghoon flinced at how cold and distant Jaeyun looked and sounded. Sure, in the brief time they had spoken, Jaeyun had been largely expressionless, but this felt terrifying. It was as if an invisible line between them had just been cut.
Or Sunghoon prefers temporary things. But how does he handle himself when he is drawn to a certain guy with glasses whom he wants to make permanent, despite the man finding his very existence vexing?

Summary
What exactly led Sunghoon to this place?
A place that was truly ruinous, with no way out. Something that at first seemed merely an escape from a painful reality—one that seemed to remind him of itself at every turn—gradually began to turn into a daily routine. Or rather, a nightly activity.
All the pain he had to face could fade away, be tamed, if only for a moment. Oh, for that heavenly, carefree moment when nothing mattered but the ecstasy that filled every hidden corner of his body. It seemed the perfect arrangement — how else could one cope with such an overwhelming reality of the world?
Or, in other words... one evening, an escape from everyday problems turns into something unusual with one message too much and, above all, one line too much.

“What are you looking at?” The elder’s voice made him jump out of his daze, immediately whipping his head to look elsewhere as he felt blazing heat crawl up his cheeks and ears, what excuse did he have? Quite honestly even after being caught he still wanted to stare, finish running his eyes down the bits he didn’t get to analyse fully, maybe if he stared enough he could figure out what it’d feel like to run his hands down his skin, was Sunghoon warm or cold to the touch? “Nothing! I thought you-you were- my suitcase is- over there, with my stuff, I was just checking!”
