Oscar Piastri has admired Lando Norris ever since he was a young karter. He has looked up to him as an idol, followed his journey since 2015 and so you'd think he might be the most successful fanboy ever to have landed him as his first teammate ever in F1. You'd be right... except Lando has only ever had eyes for Carlos. Oscar thought it didn't matter; that he didn't care to replace Carlos in Lando's life anyway. But it's starting to get to him how his place in the team is maybe not as comfortable as he would've liked... if Lando would switch him out for Carlos in a heartbeat.
Post Barcelona-Catalunya GP 2026 Fan-zone moment where Lando announced that he and Carlos had been talking about how they'd like to be teammates again one day in F1. With Oscar standing right next to him.

"I have nothing to entertain you with." Valarr's words cut off whatever else it was Aerion had to say. Relishing the way his teeth snapped together at being interrupted. Hoping it managed to annoy him even a little compared to how he had been acting today.
When he looked up, Valarr stilled. Violet eyes looked nearly black in the soft light, suddenly thankful that Aerion had come when the fires were still fresh and bright. The thought of waking up to that sight in the near dark had something racing up his spine; an electric fear that seemed to seep through his muscles, slow and almost pleasant, the longer his cousin watched him.
Then Aerion smiled once more. Too tight. Too forced. One that barely reached his eyes, as rare as that was. Each slow step brought him closer, and Valarr sighed, feigning annoyance as he looked for the book he had just placed down. Using the moment to check for his belt, his knife, just in case it was needed.

Alex’s heart leapt to pound in his ears, stumbling from a hard rhythm to an unsteady gallop. He exhaled shakily, shifting away from the intensity of Nigel's gaze, but the nausea twisting in his throat wouldn’t calm. Nigel’s eyes still spiraled into his, deep pools of night-time glaciers.
“We’ve been brought together for a reason,” Nigel said softly, voice laced with intoxicating conviction as he looked reverently back at the card. “And it’s written here.”
