“That’s gonna be hard,” he laughed, his fingers twitching. His fingers twitched out of habit, not out of instinctual reflex that was attempted to be trained out of him. It had never worked and getting rid of other aspects of his quirk had been deemed more important.
Getting into a little quirk switcheroo with the villain he was more or less sweet-talking was one way of getting rid of the publicly undesirable traits of Hawks’ quirk.

“Ning-shushu wakes up today.” He whispered into the small space between them, his words only spoken for Wei Wuxian to hear. He watched as Wei Wuxian’s face scrunched up, trying to decipher his words.
“Xian-gege,” Wei Wuxian’s eyes widened, “Ning-shushu wakes up today.”
Sizhui watched the realization cross Wei Wuxian’s face, his gaze dropping to the child clinging to his robes, then back to the teenager in front of him. His mouth opened and closed, unable to even think of where to start.
“A-Yuan? What…how?” His hand reached out and grabbed one of Sizhui’s.
