Summary
Jack gasps as he sits up, feeling his damp suit sticking to his skin, pain flaring through his insides. He turns around to search for his family, hoping they survived the onslaught. The thought of losing his family is absolutely terrifying, but Jack knows the only one to blame for the attack is himself. He failed to contain the red demon from coming out, failed to suppress his anger, and lashed out at his loved ones. And there they are, laying on the ground, the most important people in his life—Mom, Dad, Vi, and Dash. Pale, hurt, and lifeless. He failed, and he fucking killed his family! His family‘s dead ‘cos he has become a monster!
They’re dead! They’re fucking dead!
Jack Parr has been dealing with a lot of nightmares lately. It's still not enough for him to open up about it.

Summary
Will is a young gay man committed to Lazarus by his father. Traumatized and alone, he's assigned to Cell 44—right next to Cell 45, where Mike lives. Mike is infamous: violent, isolated, feared by patients and staff alike.
Through late night conversations, Will learns fragments of Mike—his sharp wit, his cruelty, his unexpected tenderness. Mike teaches Will to breathe through panic attacks after his traumatic conversion therapy sessions. But Mike also pushes Will away, warning him to stay distant, insisting nothing good comes from getting close to him. A psychological tension between horror and attraction, exploring whether a monster can be capable of tenderness—and whether Will's inability to fear Mike makes him brave, broken, or both.Bookmarked by vincentparr

Summary
Struggling actor Will Byers is a devoted horror nerd and longtime fanboy of Mike Wheeler, the King of Horror.
Will lands a breakout role in a psychological horror, co-starring with none other than his idol, the Scream King himself. It's a dream come true. It's everything Will has worked tirelessly for, until “never meet your heroes” proves painfully accurate.
Thrust into a whirlwind of fame, press tours, interviews and constant scrutiny, Will must learn how to work with Mike on set, and is often forced into close, unavoidable proximity with the very actor who secretly tried to block his casting.
Mike is difficult, distant, sharp-tongued, and frustratingly cold, masking his growing admiration and undeniable attraction for Will and navigating his own personal turmoil.
As tensions rise and chemistry ignites both on and off screen, Will must navigate the reality of working with the man he once idolized. Meanwhile, Mike finds himself unraveling. Caught between professional pride, jealousy, and feelings he can’t suppress.
