He really should know better by now, he reflects, than to imagine a mission where nothing goes wrong. Not that there was technically a point where this particular mission had gone right. Force forbid anything be easy, even ‘simple’ negotiations with a neutral planet. No doubt Cody would never let him leave his sight again; his commander had been less than pleased about him going alone, but their contact had made it clear that only the Jedi would be welcome. In hindsight, the trap was rather obvious. In this case, it’s a trap that lands him in the hands of the Separatists.
