Summary
Julieanne Bousher, a 17 year old student from Tennessee, has just suffered through the worst years of her life. Realizing she needs a change of pace, scenery, and schools, her parents decide to send her to Lydon, Massachusetts, a small island town boasting high tourism rates and a great quality of life. Despite the change in scenery, she doesn't expect anything new to happen - just the same kind of treatment and life she's had to live with for the past three years.
When she starts dreaming of a strange place called the 'Velvet Room', though, she starts to think differently.

As he spoke, he became aware of the corners of her mouth slowly pulling up, like a small black speck on the wall expanding moment by moment, one leg at a time, to reveal itself as a massive, furry tarantula. He paused, dimly aware of the platitude he'd ended on, as his attention was wholly taken up by the mounting horror of what he found in her twinkling-eyed smile:
Recognition.
There was something in her gaze that made him feel seen; it was like she was shining an unholy light into the deepest recesses of his mind. Was that how changes of heart worked? He skimmed over his unexpectedly cracked facade with a pleasant chuckle, smoothing out the rough patches until they sparkled with their usual mirror finish. "Well, I must be going; my train should be arriving any moment! Speaking with you is always enlightening," he said, but wait, did he already say that? Shit. There was something else he meant to say, the whole reason he'd started this conversation in the first place, and that was, "If it's not any trouble, would we be able to speak again sometime?"

As the secondary aspect to her quirk flared to life, her carefully styled hair rose quickly and hovered above her head, likely messing up the artful style her foster father created that morning. The hero was loud even without his quirk activated.
She could hear the man in front of her heart fluttering widely in his chest, but he didn’t say anything, his hands clutching his chest as if he had seen a ghost. Not an uncommon reaction to the cancellation aspect of her quirk. At least he wasn’t trying to attack her, she thought wryly.
She deactivated her quirk and her hair fell back down"

Summary
Traitors of Olympus are many. Shame Incarnate herself collects her dues. How else to condemn the immortal than to tear their pride apart?
Aeschyne, Shame Incarnate, is the daughter of Prometheus. By stealing fire, the Titan widowed her mother, orphaned her brother, and destroyed the Golden Age. To think that Prometheus wages war against Olympus, the Gods who took in his abandoned family. To think he wants a world without Gods, a world of anarchy. And so, Aeschyne shall do unto Prometheus as the Gods had done to their Titan foreparents: scatter him across Tartarus.
Prometheus must stay on the mountain. The Agent of Change must be fought. And so, he must vanquish his daughter, Shame, every night. Mortals do not need Shame. Prometheus does not need to care. But the more nights pass, the more Prometheus wonders: was there nothing else he could have done for Honour, the Goddess his daughter was supposed to be?
