Summary
Dean and Castiel have absolutely no reason to meet.
Castiel is the stepson of the mayor, the second son of the most important family in the city. Dean, meanwhile, has just started learning about mechanics from his father. They belong to different worlds - but when chance brings Castiel into Dean's father's workshop, they meet, with incredible consequences. All it takes is a single flower - a rose - to awaken a power within them that they don't know how to understand or control: they can cast spells on anyone, absolutely anyone, with the gift of a flower.
But can they learn how to be brave, how to take the gift that's within them and use it well - and can they find their way back to each other?

And he doesn’t mind it as much when the first thing he sees is his husband’s face. Castiel looks terribly grim, until he notices that Dean is awake.
“Heya, sunshine,” Dean grins. His vision is still a little blurry and he flexes his fingers -- they still move. So do his toes. Good news.
“Dean!”
Sam enters his field of vision, the weary expression on his face morphing into relief.
“Thank God, we didn’t know if--”
“Hey, I’m fine.” Dean manages to stretch out his hand and pat Cas’ arm. “What happened?”
“You don’t remember?”

The bunker didn’t lend itself to much natural light, and the utilitarian fixtures in the concrete hallways tended to sap people of their colour even on a good day. Maybe that was why Dean looked so much worse than Sam remembered, as worn as he’d ever seen him. The hand he pulled away from his face was shaking, just slightly, and he dropped it quickly to disguise the tremor, but the detail had already been seared into Sam’s brain.
Something was very wrong.
"I need you with me on this."Sam hasn't spoken to his brother in over a month, so when he shows up in the middle of the night with a powerful demon in tow, he's concerned.
It doesn't take long for him to realize that Dean is keeping secrets again, and that whatever he has hidden behind his teeth has to do with the strange woman who seems all too content to remain bound in their dungeon.
The demon with white eyes.
All Sam wants is the truth, to figure out who she is, and how she's connected to his brother.
But people who ask questions, tend to get answers.
And they just may be more than Sam can take.An alternate take on season 9 that replaces the Mark of Cain plot with something much worse.

The creature has finally been imprisoned in a pocket dimension woven from the very fabric of our reality. The spell won't last long, and it has claimed the lives of the Men of Letters' finest sorcerers, so all that remains is to find the original confinement site and reactivate it.
We, Michael Davies and Arthur Ketch, are aboard the Pristine, one of the magically reinforced vessels of the Men of Letters' British branch, heading east from the location where we captured the creature before it could devour the continent any further. The reverse energy trail leads us to the area formerly known as Maine, now part of what our surveyors are already calling "The Great Chomp".
We hope to find the answers we need there, in the middle of the now larger Atlantic.
Until then, we can only speculate and pray for the best.
