He’s worn stupider things in his life—he had a nipple ring, for crying out loud—and he’s made a thousand stupid choices when it came to his hair or his clothes, doesn’t even want to think about the fashion crimes he’s committed over the years in some vain attempt to seem cool, from too-tight shirts to oversized shorts to not wearing anything at all for the cheap shock and outrage of it all, from bleached hair to those regrettable frosted tips.
But for some reason, this feels different.

"Will someone please explain why Dean has Cas' Grace?" Sam's frustration is palpable, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
In an unexpected turn of events, it's Jack who breaks the silence, his expression thoughtful as ever. "I think it's because they've been having sex," he states matter-of-factly, and Dean chokes on his own saliva.
"Wait, what?" Sam splutters, his eyes darting between Dean and Cas.

Shane didn’t need a reason further than that had they fucked and now it was over—so he should go back to his own room and to sleep so he would be well rested for the All-Star Game tomorrow. It’s been a few minutes since they’d finished. They were not touching anymore, but Shane could feel Rozanov’s body heat and hear his breathing, in and out. Maybe he would kick him out soon anyways, and that would just be embarrassing. So why was Shane still not getting up?

He watched as blood smeared the boards red. He watched as Shane’s body crumbled and hit the ice, with a crunch that seemed louder than any fan in the entire stadium. He watched as Shane just stayed on the ground and did not get up.
Post-tuna melt, Ilya injures Shane on the ice and has to grapple with the consequences.

He presses his fingers all the way into Ilya’s hair, and then scrunches his fingers until the pressure of Ilya’s hair being pulled edges just into a sting. Ilya groans, head going heavy and dropping onto Shane’s shoulder. “What are you doing?” he asks.
“Testing something,” Shane says easily.
