Olruggio grumbles as his cheeks burn. Qifrey tilts Olruggio’s head backwards again to access the skin on his neck. The fabric drags warm and wet across Olruggio’s throat. He catches another glance of Qifrey’s stained hand, and even his fingernails are black. With the way ink stains, it’ll probably look like that for a few days. He huffs out a half a laugh before remembering—
“It’s coming off, right? I’m meeting with a client tomorrow.”
Qifrey blanches, deftly avoiding Oruggio's gaze despite being at a two-to-one disadvantage. He scrubs at the skin a little harder.
“Qifrey,” Olruggio says, voice flat and deep. “It’s coming off, right?”
