“He’s not French, Marco told me that his family is from Montreal.”
Which is true. The first week of school while Jean was doing his “oh I’m basically a transfer student” bit, Marco whispered into Eren’s ear and told him that Jean is from Montreal. Marco denies this now but Eren doesn’t forget stuff like that. Especially not when Jean’s accent changes everyday for people with ears to hear it.
Maybe he was given that information to be his school’s very own Cassandra. He could foresee Jean’s bullshit but everyone was too captivated by him that they wouldn’t believe him.

Jean has been lying about being French and only Eren knows the truth. He's been yelling from the rooftops that Jean isn't French but no one believes him.

Summary
Hinge is actively harboring demons. It is a front for the worst people in the world to gather together to make everyone hate their lives. That is the conclusion that Bertholdt has come to. Every single date he goes on either ends awkwardly or in a complete shamble. This is no fault of his own, they’re all just horrible. With the way dating goes for Bertholdt he might as well be the most unlikeable person alive.
He wasn’t asking for much out of people. All he wanted was a kind, sane, and stable person to live out his life with. If he has to go into specifics, he wants someone shorter than him. Call him heteronormative, call it a preference, call it whatever. He just can’t fathom dating anyone even an inch taller. Not that it’s likely seeing as he’s 6’4, he just had to get that out there. He wants someone who cringes at the thought of kids but is down to get a dog whenever.

Bertholdt is having a hard time finding love. The person he thought would make a wonderful partner ending up going psycho on him mid date, and now he's back to square one. Annie says that the love of his life won't just come knocking, but, what was that sound?

Summary

The name “Gojo” came attached with wealth, power, and legacy — all three of which Suguru lacked. Now that Suguru was on his own, he was determined to try and rebuild himself. However, in his solitude, Suguru had started to realize how much he relied on Satoru for a comfortable lifestyle. Dating a Gojo meant never having to look at bills, never having to budget for rent and utilities, and living a relatively care-free life that only required sitting still and looking pretty. But those days were over, and Suguru needed to move on.
