Leo wollte sich eigentlich länger Zeit lassen und Adams Körper ausgiebig mit seinen Händen erkunden, aber das war beinahe unmöglich. Er hörte nur noch Adams Stöhnen, schmeckte nur noch Adams Haut auf seiner Zunge. Um ihn herum war nur noch Adam. Alles andere nahm er nicht mehr wahr.
Bis ein erneuter Donnerschlag sie zusammenzucken ließ.

Seit einigen Wochen hatte er nämlich Besseres zu tun. Und dieses Bessere stand nun gerade hinter ihm und legte ihm vorsichtig eine Hand auf die Schulter.

“Wha’ happened?” Shane mumbles.
Ilya presses the call button for the nurse. “You took a bad hit during the game. We are at hospital.”
Shane frowns. “What game?” he asks, and then, “Who are you?”
Ilya blinks back the panic rising in his throat. “Shane, what the fuck? Is me. Ilya.”
Shane is still frowning. “Rozanov?” he asks, and suddenly, like he’s had a premonition, Ilya knows what Shane is going to say next. Knows from the furrow between his brows and the hunch in his shoulders and the hands that are very conspicuously not reaching for him.
“Rozanov,” Shane says again. “What the fuck are you doing here?”
So this is what it feels like for your heart to break.

Ilya is looking at the finger Shane has in his mouth with great interest. “No, I am. Very.” He leans in, snaking an arm around Shane’s waist. “Maybe not for this bread, though.”
“Do you…want to eat something else?” Shane ventures as Ilya takes Shane’s hand in his.
“Sure.” Ilya presses his lips to the tip of Shane’s finger, followed by his tongue. “You have this ‘something else’ in mind?”

He hastily clicked open the folder, his eyes barely glancing through the dozen or so shots there, vaguely registering a picture with a sunset background from his condo balcony, something of him laughing, a picture of him working at his laptop with his glasses on...
The director called him again, and he shook his head, the photos blurring. Whatever. It would have to do.
He clicked "select all," then the messages icon, then Rozanov's name. Hit send.
