The bookshop has felt so empty since the angel left. Not just lacking in customers, or noise, but also light and colour. Crowley was certain that the walls used to be brighter, the books used to breathe.
At least the alleyway didn't reek of a potential life lost, and the rats were welcome company in the silence that followed the confession.
"You idiot, we could have been us"
Aziraphale had made the correct decision, right? He just wanted to help, to fix things, to make right what so many before him had ruined. Creation deserved a chance to have real peace and he'd be damned if he didn't at least try.
A heartbroken demon lying in a damp alley and a remorseful angel in an uncomfortable grey suit both press two fingers to their lips at the same time, and wonder if it is too late to mend things.

Summary
This is kinda just a bunch of essays/poems etc. about how I feel a lot of the time (some of it is hyperbolised, some of it is not).
I feel that it is healthy to write about things that I feel and think and also if anyone ends up finding this they may find some solace in it - either because they relate to it or because they can see that someone else is a bit more messed up than them haha.

Summary
As a grease monkey turned college freshman, Dean's constantly three seconds away from being stressed out of his mind. It hardly helps that he's finally figuring out his sexuality in his thirties.
What might help with that stress is a little phone number (and a big credit card bill). If he can't figure out how to be bisexual in person, he can at least give it a go over the phone, right?
(It's probably a bad idea, but he really can't help himself.)

“I need you,” said Aziraphale, which was far more straightforward than Crowley had been expecting, even after two bottles of wine. The angel stared at his plate, turning as red as the little gems of pomegranate seed on it.
“Well,” Crowley said, at last, trying to keep any giveaway hoarseness out of his voice. “Here I am."
“It’s just that—oh, dear, some things are so difficult to say over the telephone apparatus, aren’t they? Especially if you have your voice messages on. It feels so impersonal, and I really couldn’t wait any longer to ask."
“Good strategy. I’m right here, go ahead,” Crowley said encouragingly, wondering if he should reach for the angel’s hand. Unfortunately, the angel’s closest hand was gripping cutlery as if it was a lifebuoy. Crowley considered putting his hand on one invitingly touchable thigh instead.
“Will you come to a party with me?"

Crowley and Aziraphale pose as husbands for a house party, because Aziraphale is bad at saying no (to anyone but Crowley and anyone trying to buy books).
Crowley thinks this is a good chance to prove himself the perfect potential demon husband to a fussy angel. But things get complicated fast. Really complicated.
