    Shang Qinghua releases his hold on his king and takes a step back, pouting. “If I wake up because of this, I’m going to be very cross with you, my king!” He wags his finger at the ice demon. “I don’t wanna miss this, you know!”

    Mobei-jun simply crosses his arms and gives him an unimpressed stare, so Shang Qinghua gestures to the room around them. “You know, all this! This is the dream.”

    Shang Qinghua has somehow lost his memories and thinks he's dreaming about being in Proud Immortal Demon Way. This is obviously Mobei-jun's problem.

    How will the two navigate this until Qinghua is back to normal!?

    amazing characterization, the dynamic between moshang is so so cute :((
    Mbj and sqh are so adorable in this..

    Narration is also so fun and engaging!!! I love how the author dealt with sqh's problems as well, especially with his friendship with cucumber.

    The alternating pov was so so fun too.. ouggh such a beautiful and fun work of art. Such a lovely tribute to moshang :((

    Each day, Kaveh is transferred to a different parallel reality, and in every single one of those, he and Alhaitham are together:

    Waking up in Alhaitham’s arms felt more familiar on the third day. By the fourth, it was fully expected and, by the fifth, he found himself snuggling into those warm arms and sometimes smiling at the “Good morning, sweetheart,” before reminding himself of the situation and sitting down a very confused Alhaitham for a very confusing conversation. It’s not you he loves, he reminded himself, time and time again.

    There was this one post I came across one day that said something along the lines of "A person's love for a character can be so strong, it urges them to write a hundred different happy endings for the character out of love"

    This fanfiction felt exactly like that. Throughout reading this, I could feel the love the author had for these two characters. And as fictional as they may be, the author made them feel so real. So much humanity and emotion was laced within the prose and narration.

    Reading this fanfiction felt like reading a love letter, and I'm so glad I was able to come across this work. This is genuinely one of the most heartwarming haikaveh fanfiction I've ever read.

    Good things must be said thrice: Kudos, kudos, kudos!!! Such a sweet fic!!!

    Wait.

    Wait wait wait, hold on a moment, hold the phone, what?! No, this shouldn’t be happening. He shouldn’t be feeling things. He should be dead! In some painless limbo or whatever the hell happened after dying.

    He definitely shouldn’t be able to feel the warmth of a blanket wrapped tightly around him

    Or; One failed suicide attempt later, Shang Qinghua is left having to rebuild his life and learn how to live again.

    this series is so so peak oh my God. The first part felt so devastating and perfectly captured the hopelessness SQH felt.

    This part was such a sweet way to continue Qinghua's story. Such a sweet tribute to the precious blorbo. I love how the author put so much care into the dialogue and the dynamics the characters have with each other. This fic and the previous one was a pleasure to read and I can't wait to read the next one.

    The narration is so engaging and I love how the author executed the characterization of the characters.

    God it's also such my guilty pleasure to read works that include "being there during your worst" situations.. SQH is so babygirl here too
