That thought is usually a good cue to drink more.Claire Redfield comes to Jordan Heights to find someone to blame for Leon and Sherry. She finds a little girl hiding from her nightmares instead. One who sees things that aren't there and is already doing a better job of punishing herself than Claire ever could.
She doesn't know what to say when Grace thanks her for talking to her, and she doesn't know what to feel when Grace accidentally calls her "mom".

She would have a much easier time with that if her child was not constantly swooning over Alcina's oldest daughter whenever they were in the same room.

So when Vereesa unexpectedly can't attend, it falls on Sylvanas to make sure everything goes right, but is she protecting her country from their rivals, or Jaina from herself?

The taller woman’s uncovered eye widened for a moment, as Vi’s words dawned on her. Then, her gaze gradually narrowed.
“Look, Vi, I now understand your anger and frustration” she began in a very patient tone. “But that does not give you the right to barge into my shop and accuse me of carelessly tossing an elderly woman out onto the streets. As I’ve stated before, I was offered a reasonable contract after the last resident had moved out. So whatever quarrel you have - it isn’t with me.”
Vi’s fists tightened. “And just what-”
“You don’t even know my name” the tall goddess interrupted her firmly. “And quite frankly, you’re making a fool of yourself - accusing me of crimes I had nothing to do with while you don’t even know how to address me.”
