Summary
Ivan and Till were on the brink of divorce when Till was suddenly caught up in a freak car accident, leading him to remain in a coma for three days. When he awoke once again, Ivan saw that he was a completely changed man, one Ivan was incredibly unused to.

And then Till looked over his shoulder, caught Ivan's gaze and held it. "Thank you. I know I'm really late in saying it. But I'm also really, really happy that I still have the chance to say it at all."
Till believed Ivan died sacrificing himself for him. Ivan believed Till died in the fiery destruction of the Alien Stage.
And neither knew that the other survived.
Eight years later, Till has settled into caring for the children he'd rescued from the Alien Stage Museum with the help of the rest of the Rebellion, while Ivan continues working to fulfill what he believes would have been Till's last wish. When they're reunited, they have the chance to say everything they should have said once upon a time and to discover the mutual love that once eluded them. But only if they can overcome all the scars that mark them.

“He hasn’t woken up yet, so he might be in shock when he finally does, if something happens don’t hesitate to call us, alright?” A stranger woman’s voice said, her tone gentle and reassuring, probably a nurse.
“Is it really okay for me to go in alone? I’m not sure if—” Another voice — that he recognizes immediately as Till’s — speaks, but the nurse shushes him before he can continue.
“I’m sure you are worried about him, and it’s not our place to intrude. It’ll be fine.”

Keith had no idea what was considered “too fast” in a relationship. He and Lance hadn’t even been dating for a whole month yet and Keith already wanted to jump his bones at any given time.
