Summary
It is post reunion/make up. Ed and Izzy are together, as are Ed and Stede and the Stizzy part of Steddyhands is new/developing.
During an argument between Izzy and Stede (where Stede makes some thoughtless comments about omegas and alphas), Ed accidentally mentions that Izzy used to be an alpha. After Izzy, embarrassed by Stede finding out, retreats Ed tells Stede that Hornigold had planned to bitch Ed since he is a beta, but to protect Ed Izzy made sure that Hornigold was convinced by the crew it would be a stronger move to bitch an alpha and bitched him instead.
Stede, who had been discouraged by the progress between him and Izzy realizes that Izzy is afraid, that he had suffered at the hands of an Alpha before, and that is why he had been so standoffish. He is determined to prove to Izzy that he can trust him.
There are brief non graphic/ non descriptive references to past noncon/bitching and that it must have been really awful/traumatizing for Izzy.
