Summary
It's just another time to gas up their old spaceship.
Deacon uses these times to try and score a successful date for once, while the ship refuels at outposts, but he fails again and returns to the ship early where Bronn (Bronze) the ship's mechanic/ engineer is the only one still on board.
Deacon ends up spending time with Bronn and after some kind words from Bronn, Deacon discovers something about himself...
Also the end has a short bit involving Chase and Nox when they return to the ship as well.

The Olden Way held different values from most Resol’nare. Their Creed kept their Ways close, they kept their secrets with their lives. It was difficult to find information on them because they themselves were hard to find. They were ghosts.
The only reason Jaster knew that much was because one of his closer Verde was once of a Covert. His Creed was broken and while he sought Redemption to return in the beginning, he found his soulmate who was not of his Creed.
“Olden Way or not, our tendons have granted him the life debt of my ad and me. One for saving his life, and one because I failed to be there to protect it.” Jaster muttered. “We’ll find him.”

While taking down a slaver ring, Din and Boba are transported to the past, not that Din knows it at first. Dropped onto Sundari, supposed capital of Mandalore, a planet and people Din believes to be erased, what is he to do? Especially when he hears about a certain Sith, an aruetii, who supposedly stole the title of Mand'alor but is not Mandalorian? Well, Din has to take his lawful place, right? Even if that means picking up strays, reluctantly doing his job of ruling a people, speaking to his (two??) Darksabers, and so so much more.

The doors rattle. Screaming ceased. Din felt scared, but he knew what was coming. The droid would find him, but the Mandalorian would be faster.
This dream has never changed in the thirty years since it happened to him.
Din holds himself, clutching the sleeves of his red robes, smelling his mother's perfume even though he knows he doesn't remember what it smells like anymore.
But...he does.
How does he remember?
OR. Force osik. Din gets sent back in time to when he was saved by Death Watch, except Cody and the 212th save him instead.

Zhao gives the archer one command, "shoot to kill."
The archer doesn't miss.
Just like that: Zuko's life becomes pain. Stabbing. Piercing. Carnal and red. Ribbons of it shoot across his face like lightening, radiating from his eye. So, all-consuming he is surely nothing but that pain. It takes everything from him, even his memories.
OR: The arrow shot at Zuko during "The Blue Spirit" actually hits him and not his mask. Leaving the traitor prince horribly injured with no memories. In his delirium he decides he can trust Aang. Aang sees an opportunity for him and Zuko to become friends. Sokka isn't sure how to feel about any of this. Much less, his growing feelings for the new addition to their party. And Katara can't help but worry... how will Zuko react when he learns the truth?

The last thing he remembered felt strange to recall as if it hadn’t actually been the last thing he could remember. The memories felt distant and out of reach, like a film covering the surface. He had been walking home from school, something had upset him and he had almost run into Kai and his gang, opting to take a shortcut through the alley to get home. After that, there was nothing but the impression of memories ripped from his grasp, nothing to indicate how Din had gotten onto the landing pad of a storm-ridden planet, surrounded by an endless ocean. Besides the stark white, circular buildings surrounding him on other platforms like the one he was currently on, there wasn’t a speck of land to be seen.
Where the kriff am I?
Or, a young Din Djarin mysteriously shows up on Kamino at the beginning of the Clone Wars with no memory of how he got there.

But, Deacon finished his work and has a day off at last after writing the last few words he needed, so Buddy may have ways to get Deacon's attention on him. Or vice versa.
