At that exact moment, Minho returned, the soft clink of the mugs announcing his arrival. Summary
Seungmin has managed for so many years, managed to keep the beast suppressed and hide his biggest shame from his closest friends and band mates. He can’t even imagine what would happen if they figured out he’s a monster in sheep’s clothing. It would be a disaster.
Seungmin has gone to great lengths to avoid being found out, but not even his meticulous planning can account for the fact that his friends care about him, are somewhat observant and that some of them are way noisier than they need to be.
Jeongin senses something is wrong, and convinces Chan that they should follow Seungmin, it just so happens to be the night of the full moon. Oh well.

Minho had his head resting on his crossed arms, glaring at another table across the room. Jisung turned his head and followed his gaze, eyes falling on a familiar head of brunette hair buried in a sea of papers and textbooks. Seungmin was squinting at his laptop and tapping the end of a pen against his lip. He looked laser-focused on his work, despite the eye bags Jisung could spot even across the room.
He had a growing inkling as to why Minho was so grumpy now. “Wow, how long’s he been at it?”
“Since 5am,” Minho snipped.

Summary
Seungmin hates clubs. They’re loud, you can’t talk without shouting, and there’s dancing. He doesn’t hate dancing entirely, but it's mortifying to think that strangers are witnessing him awkwardly two-stepping. He only does it to appease his best friends and he knows he shouldn't care, but he does.
But here he is, uncomfortable and awkward, stalling to go back to the dance floor by choosing the longest line to get a drink from. He doesn’t drink too often, but when he does, he tends to savour his drinks so he doesn't have too many. It's expensive and he doesn't like the idea of paying top dollar for a hangover.
Not tonight, though. He needs to be buzzed so he doesn’t feel humiliated when Hyunjin and Minho dance circles around him.
