The fucker spiked his drink.
Theo let out a low growl of annoyance. He was reluctantly impressed. It had been a while since anyone got the drop on him like that. Usually he felt the shift in the air or the change in scent or the wrongness of a touch before anything happened. But this guy had slipped right under his radar.
Too bad a regular roofie wouldn’t do much to him. At worst it would give him a headache and make him cranky. Theo lifted the glass again and drank anyway. He could always seek the man out later and kill him. No need to make a big deal about it here.

Derek had no idea how this happened, but somehow, all of the annoying teenage supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills had managed to subtly move into his house without his permission--which he definitely wouldn't have given--or him noticing. Thinking back, he couldn't pinpoint exactly when it had even happened.
Somehow, "Pack meeting tonight at the Hale House" turned into "Pack meeting tonight".
"Go to your own house, if you're gonna play that trash music" turned into "If I have to tell you to turn that down one more time, you'll be sleeping outside tonight".
"I won't be able to come over until late...maybe we should reschedule?" turned into "I'll be home late--let's figure it out in the morning".
Derek had no idea how he felt about this, but he was definitely going to act much more annoyed than he truly was.
[All the tagged teens live in the rebuilt Hale House with Derek and hilarity ensues...along with the PTSD, nightmares, trust issues, etc. that they've picked up over the years and have to work through as a pack. As a family.]

He cast magic sensing spells around to make sure no one from the ministry had yet been notified about the events of the evening. Severus was frantic about finding the boy. He must be exhausted after that, how far had he managed to go?
He finally spotted Potter sitting on a low wall breathing heavily, with his trunk and a bird cage at his feet. He breathed a sigh of relief. He was halfway down the street from the boy when he sensed something. Magic that was half human, half predatory somewhere very close to the boy and right that instant he saw the boy slip. Panicked, not sparing a second to think, Severus apparated next to the boy grabbed him and his belongings and apparated them straight back to the alleyway in Spinner's End.
