Summary
To say Alastor is having a bad day would be an understatement. He's on edge, distracted, and certain events have it spiraling from bad to worse.
There are a few things that could improve it exponentially, all centering around his secret arrangement with a certain spider. The one who is spending an increasing amount of time occupying Alastor's thoughts.
Inspired by two absolutely amazing pieces of art by @AlisHumanoid and @DeeperVisions and the song itself. PLEASE go check them both out if you're not following already!
Started with an idea to try and write both takes into a fic, spiraled into a slow build up with a side of character study. All Alastor's POV. Mind the tags as some internal thoughts are quite dark.
