Summary
“I didn’t mean to.” Will says in a small voice.
“I know buddy. I know. I don’t blame you. It’s not your fault. He was a bad guy anyway ok?” Dustin says reassuringly.
Will shakes his head and looks down. Tears fall faster down his cheeks.“We need to get out of here. Find the others, ok?” Dustin leans over to catch Will’s gaze. Dustin helps him stand, the metal chair creaks slightly under the shift in weight. Dustin supports him around the waist and slings Will’s right arm around his shoulders. He bends down to snatch a keycard from the corpse on the floor.
The pair awkwardly hobble to the door.
Dustin presents the stolen card to the reader and waits for it to flash green.He opens the door slowly. It creaks, loud in the otherwise barren room.
Dustin strains his neck and peaks down the hallway.
Oh god.It's a bloodbath.

Will walks towards the table with two quick strides, resting his hips there as he grabs one wooden stake and holds it in his hand. “I’ll keep a stake to your heart. If you lose control I’ll kill you right here.”
“You trust me that much?” Mike raises a brow.
“I trust myself enough to stab you if you lose yourself.”
[…]
“Are you sure?” Mike asks, stepping in front of Will to close the distance. “You’re offering your blood to me.”
Or: Will, the vampire Slayer, notices Mike has been starving himself for too long. What happens if he decides to offer his blood to the vampire? Is it the first of a series of bad decision? Probably. But the pleasure, oh sweet pleasure, is worth it.

Summary
Will digs his teeth into the side of his cheek, looking at the other boy. He had so many freckles. They even went up past the boy's hairline, and down his shirt collar, and were all over his hands. Maybe they were on the top of his head under his hair and Will just couldn't see. His tail was fluffy, not sleek like other wolves he's seen. Maybe it's because the pup's head hair was so fluffy, slicked down in some places and curled in others. Will wonders if it's purposeful, but he knows better than to ask.
“...Do you have any friends?” Will doesn't respond, and the pup clears his throat, looking uncomfortable. “Uhm- I don't either. Not yet. Not any real friends- Nance says that a real friend is better than fake people trying to be your friend. And she has a best friend, so she has to be right, just this once.”
Or, miwi werehere meeting for the first time, and how they became friends. Kindergarten is hard.

Summary
"Your Paladin won't be coming to save you," Dante says, lying through his teeth. It's perhaps the most obvious bluff he's ever made, and if the way Will's eyebrows shoot up is any indication, it shows.
Will's lip twitches, like he's fighting a laugh – or a scream. Dante prefers to think it's the latter. "Really? Did he tell you that?"
Or: Will gets held for ransom due to his suspected connection to Paladin. It doesn’t end so well for the kidnapper.
