克里斯蒂亚诺张嘴。他想说一个假名字。他在圣保罗给任何人干活都用假名字，因为葡萄牙人的姓氏在这里招人恨。但他看着那双棕色的眼睛毫不躲闪地看着他，像在认真地等一个答案，没有别的意思。
"克里斯蒂亚诺。"他说。
然后他补充道，"克里斯蒂亚诺·罗纳尔多·多斯桑托斯·阿韦罗。"连他自己都不明白为什么要把全名都说出来。父亲的名字，祖父的名字，里斯本那条破街的名字，把所有招人恨的东西全抖了出来。
神父听了，没有皱眉，没有后退。他只是把两只手收进黑袍宽大的袖子里，站得更直了一些。雨声小下去了，晚祷也结束了。整座教堂安静得能听见水滴从圣母像指尖坠地的声音。"我叫里卡多。"他说，"里卡多·伊泽克森·多斯桑托斯·莱特。"

Why not make him his bride and keep him on a hidden island for safe keeping? Will his friends and family ever find him?
