Your measureless compassion will be sweetThe Four Great Clans lose the final battle; Jiang Cheng is presumed dead and Wei Wuxian is missing. Jiang Cheng, in search of his shixiong, saves a Wen child from being murdered. He stumbles into raising and ultimately loving the child as his own. Wei Wuxian finds his shijie dying and is tasked with looking after Jin Ling. With everyone he loves dead, he makes sure to give Jin Ling a future as close to happy as he can get it.
16 years later Jin Ling and Jiang Yuan meet each other as well as Lan Jingyi on a night hunt. Through friendships, family, and love they bring forth a new beginning, not just for them but the Cultivation World.

Summary
Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng make it onto a ship bound for America through a lucky hand of poker. Wei Wuxian expects to go to America and meet his sister. He doesn't expect to save first class passenger Lan Wangji, who is stuck with an impending marriage, and subsequently falling in love with him.
With the odds against them already they find themselves on their own sinking ship.
(This story is based on the movie Titanic, not the tragic event. I know the movie is based on the event, but this story is based purely on the plot of the movie.
