Summary
Almost ten years after Voldemort’s capture, Draco Malfoy, forced to work as an Auror as part of a rehabilitation program to keep children on the wrong side of the war out of Azkaban, is given a promotion. The only problem is that promotion comes with a new work partner. This partner will cause old feelings to stir, forcing Draco to confront the past he spent five years in Azkaban trying to forget. “You need to stop!” She finally managed to gasp after several thick swallows, once her pipes were cleared.
“Wh-” she didn’t let him question her as she slammed her fork down on the kitchen island.
“I- I know you’re not doing it on purpose, Malfoy, and it’s fine in the pub where it’s neutral territory- but we’re in your kitchen, and I can see your socks, and that’s very intimate, and how you’re acting- like- like you like me, it’s making me think things and- it’s confusing. Is this because I mentioned the thing about human contact and the milkman earlier?” She took a heaving breath and wished to all the gods she had just kept the chicken in her mouth. “Sorry,” she finally spoke after a tense silence, “I didn’t mean to shout.”
Draco Malfoy blinked at her for a solid minute. It looked as though he was picking over every word she’d vomited at him. “I do like you,” he finally said, in a very neutral tone.

Summary
This is a story about how Hermione Granger, head girl, found herself in an unthinkable situation with her arch-nemesis. Draco Malfoy.
Their heated duel in Defense Against the Dark Arts had escalated, leaving a trail of shattered furniture, classroom supplies, and potions in its wake. Now, forced to spend afternoons together in detention, they painstakingly replaced each and every spilled concoction. As the final potion neared completion, a chilling realization struck them too late. The room lurched and twisted, sending them hurtling through the air before crashing to the ground.
They surveyed their surroundings, a wave of disorientation washing over them. Cracked wooden terrain stretched before them, resembling a network of grand canyons. Above, towering canopies of wood and steel loomed, while wide rivers of purple liquid flowed across the unfamiliar landscape. Recognition dawned, draining the color from their faces.
"Mudblood," Draco spat, "we've bloody shrunk ourselves."
