Thomas refuses to return to Downton Abbey until his innocence is proven and Matthew is desperate to prove it, with the help of Mrs Hughes and Tom. Though even if they manage to, will everything truly return to normal? They both knew that their love would never be easy but they hadn't expected it to be this hard; especially with the village talking. Sometimes even the darkest corners aren't dark enough to hide every secret.

Summary

This is my interpretations of what Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood think/feel/do in between the scenes seen on the show. I try to keep to the timeline (but let’s be honest, does anyone really understand it?)
It’s just my thoughts on what they would be doing and thinking so I hope you will enjoy this ride with me.
They can all be read independently, references to previous stories in the series is kept to a minimal, if not I’ll make it a disclaimer in the start of the story. It shouldn’t really interfere with anything but I have found that a common theme is Alec and Magnus arrive just at the right time for each other more than once.
Some of the stories are completely independent from any scenes, some are thoughts and actions leading up to a scene, aka what I believe they did or thought in order for that scene to take place. I try to make it really obvious which scene it is after/leading up to.

“I knew I'd find you around here.”
Leon jolts awake, and for a second, he’s only aware of the pink, flickering neon over the counter and the clock ticking right above it. He doesn’t reach for his holster—he knows that voice all too well. He glances up, blinking slowly, to meet Chris’s gaze.
“Your stealth’s gotten better.” Leon gestures at the mug growing cold on the table in front of him. “Before you say anything unpleasant—that’s coffee.”
Chris scoffs, then smiles.
“I wouldn't blame you for indulging in a drink after the night you just had.”
“Really?” Leon inhales deeply, holding back a coughing fit that he chalks up to an entire building collapsing on him, just a couple of hours ago. “Aging is making you soft, Captain Redfield.”
There’s a mineral aftertaste at the back of Leon’s throat, and there was a time when he would have considered watering it down with a drink, falling into his glass until morning only to forget the sound of his own name. But the man he is today can only wonder if it will eventually wash off, or if Raccoon City’s crumbling foundations will somehow always stick with him.

Carlos is a ray of sunshine, he strives to be because no matter what life brings you, there’s always a reason to smile and be kind to others. He just wants to bring joy, hiding his sadness.
Nicholai is the scum of the earth and he feels no shame. When the world wants nothing more than to drown you in shit, whoring yourself up to the top is the most suitable solution. Anything has a price tag until your conscience knocks on your door like an unwelcome, rotten guest.
In a Raccoon City doomed to destruction, they’ll have to find a way to survive. Will they do it together or will they stab each other in the back?- Language:

Summary

In which Hawke needs a pretend-date to the Viscount's birthday ball, and Anders won't turn down the opportunity for free food and some relative alone time with his good friend of the last two years - the man he definitely, positively, absolutely isn't in love with. After all, how bad can it be?
