Dabi's had a long time to cycle through his emotions - there had been rage, SO much rage. Rage that he was the one to find beautiful, golden, shining Hawks splattered across the pavement, golden eyes closed, blood drying in a lake beneath him, body shattered, but somehow still beautiful. Gods he’s fucked in the head, he knows that for absolute certain now, because that rage led him here, back to the place he swore he would never go again.
The Doctor had been overjoyed when Dabi, literally steaming with rage, had burst through the door, Hawks’ broken body draped across his shoulder.
“Fix him.” He had demanded, fire licking up his throat, smoke leaking from his nostrils.~OR~
