Do you not hate me for it?” Every time Sonic had shut down any of Amy’s advances, he’d felt a small twinge of guilt as her initial sadness at the rejection morphed into one of quiet resignation the more it had happened. “Why don’t you hate me for it?”

While Sonic enjoys finally having time to travel, the team realizes that Sonic was more needed in the battles than they thought, especially when other villains are more annoying to them when there's no blue ball to relieve them.
