A broken pot lay in pieces on the floor, its partner teetering on the ledge above, slow drips of water slipping out from beneath its weight like the blood the shards of pottery had issued forth.
“We'll get it a new pot,” Yoongi had said. “Don't worry. It won't die. And if it does—it'll come back. I'll plant one of its leaves, and it'll come back to life. Don't worry. Now let me see your hand, Jimin. Please don’t cry.”
Their own vessels had been broken many times before, but each time their lives were replanted. They came back. Always the same and yet somehow different. Embarrassed now, after you’ve already been that much of a slut?” He scratches his nails down Jimin’s back, sharply enough to undoubtedly leave a mark behind. “That’s what gets you off so terribly? Being a sloppy fuck hole, a pretty little toy for anyone who’s willing to have you? The campus whore?”
Or, Jimin has a pain kink and a thing for Yoongi breaking his heart. It's adequate.
