There’s a pause. “Someone saw me,” Venti repeats.
“Nimrod,” Diluc nods. “Got drunk in Angel’s Share afterwards. Charles told me, which means that everyone in the bar must know by now, and probably half the city.” Then he mutters something about Kaeya, which Venti would address if he felt anything like normal. It’ll be fine, probably.
The idea of Nimrod knowing, of half of the city knowing –
Anemo rises up between Venti’s limbs before he can even put the idea into words. He doesn’t think about it, barely processing what he’s doing, before he blinks out in a flurry of teal.
(Venti intervenes with an Abyssal threat and gets caught. Mondstadt doesn't see him again for weeks.)

“S-so he isn’t dying, right?” March zones in on his diagnosis of Dan Heng being simply unwell, nowhere close to escaping his life-long fate.
Ren ignores Stelle's reply in favor of quelling Marchs’ visible anxiety. “His foolish negligence does not grant him the right to abolish the fate he’s doomed us both to.”
‘I refuse to let him die.’ goes unsaid but administered nonetheless.
Or, Dan Heng gets sick. Ren is seemingly the only person who knows how to make his medicine.

The views are beautiful — a lush rainforest with a massive tree, a vast desert, frozen tundras, a great volcano spewing ash, a great plateau spilling water into the surrounding sea like an overflowing chalice, an archipelago off in the distance, mountain ranges and gorges that seemed to cut into the earth itself, and windswept rolling hills — but he recognizes none of it. After over thirty million recurrences, Phainon knew the lands of Amphoreus like the back of his hand a million times over. The views before him now did not match anything in his memories. And yet, there was a highly peculiar sense of familiarity akin to knowing that he'd seen it before but was utterly unable to recall any specific memory of it.
