He remembers the sabotage, the kind of insurrectionist action so loathed by his father. It happened not long after Arthur Baker's death. Then came the run-for-it, ride-for-it in the rebel car, the pain and the screaming and the careening out of the world.or: The last three Long Walkers are rescued by rebels before Stebbins has the opportunity to come clean about his family situation. Forced to lie low in an isolated cabin with his former competitors, he's grappling with old demons and questioning his loyalties.
