Summary
Achilles lets out a derisive scoff. He is sprawled on the bed, golden hair cascading over his shoulder like a Renaissance work of art. "All work and no play makes Pat a dull boy," he drawls.
“Some of us do have to work, you know,” Patroclus says snidely, “for you to be able to tour Europe for months with your girlfriend.”
A year ago, Achilles left to study abroad, while Patroclus stayed behind to work at the family company. Now, just as Patroclus gets ready for the most important work trip of his career, Achilles decides to come along for the ride without asking. After not having seen each other for so long, the friendship they once had is hanging by a thread... while the tension that neither of them wants to acknowledge is heavier than ever.

Summary
After his death, Achilles finds himself in the underworld. Prepared to face his judgement and eternity, he marches into hell, only to learn that Patroclus never arrived. He sets up vigil outside the gates, and waits.

'Where is he?’ he demanded, his voice breaking against the colossal thrones like a wooden spear against the walls of Troy. The crowd stirred over his shoulder, whispers amongst ghosts, but Achilles paid them no mind.
‘And who do you speak of?’ asked Minos, the barbs of his lashing tongue catching Achilles’s skin, tearing what little remained unmarked. He turned his attention to the last of the judges, and spoke solely to Rhadamanthus.

Summary
“Oh gods,” Patroclus moans.
“The only god here is me,” Achilles replies, nipping Patroclus’ earlobe.
Patroclus and Achilles have never hid anything from one another. When Patroclus tells Achilles that Briseis has kissed him, has confessed feelings for him, Achilles cannot explain the feeling that’s brewing in him at first. He realizes a moment later the sick feeling in his stomach is jealousy.
