If Andy weren't Andy, it's unlikely he'd still be playing with his toys, even after he technically wasn't a child anymore. He still enjoyed dreaming up scenarios and acting them out: maybe an alien invasion, with Buzz playing the main antagonist against Woody and Jessie; or maybe a time when the Wild West was transported to the present, and being a cowboy was an incredible honor.

Buzz doesn't respond at first, too busy just staring. Woody, to some, was not some god carved in marble. To buzz, though, he was gorgeous. Every detail he could spot -- the freckles on his shoulders, the slight gray hairs in his brown curls, the scars and blemishes on his skin. Every part of him was beautiful -- and buzz couldn't help but stare.

10 years have passed since Woody made the decision to leave the other toys and stay with Bo. At first, he adored his new life and was certain this was where he wanted to be for the rest of his life. Now he and Bo have drifted apart and he just isn't enjoying this new life anymore. When Bo realizes this and offers to help him find Buzz again, how could he turn that down? With so much time having passed, it quickly becomes obvious to Woody that this isn't something that is going to be easy. How will he ever find Buzz when he could be anywhere in the world?
