Summary

Summary
Eighteen months since the LaRose family scattered to the four winds, and while Fabio's political star is rising, Thedas itself is rapidly reaching the brink, as the rebel mages and independent Templars meet for peace talks chaired by the Divine. Illario's there helping his aunt organise it all, which was expected, and Lucanis is there as an observer from the Crows, sent by a grandmother with an apostate consort and a stake in the outcome. The Conclave does not go as planned, but no one expected two people to stagger out of the Fade - a strange woman with a sword of fire and a helm of dragons' teeth, and Lucanis Dellamorte with a mark on his hand that he doesn't remember getting and the knowledge he'd follow this woman anywhere she leads. Meanwhile Fabio's long-lost cousin is accompanying his father-in-law to track down their missing High Queen, little knowing his own extended family are waiting for him.

A follow up to my Cullen/Amell saga to get Alistair some attention and love.
Alistair's life isn't all bad. He's King, he's got two kids he adores a wife he's vaguely aware exists. The only thing missing in that blissful domestic picture is someone to love. But all in all, things are weirdly working out for him.
