There’s one pair of eyes that’d been burning into Eddie’s forehead that he can’t shake off, even when the timer is well past halftime, and he was back on his box cheering on players. The gaze never left him since he’d hit that first move when the beat drop and it sends chills down his spine thinking that someone could be that enthused with the way he moved.

Richie Tozier was tall and skinny and he wore bands tank tops. Richie Tozier was the reason why Eddie had started biting his lower lip way more frequently than he did before.

And just because he doesn't like to kiss his girlfriend doesn't mean he's gay. He just doesn't like germs.
He can't believe his mother is sending him to True Directions. He doesn't need to learn how to be straight. He just wants to have a fun summer before going off to college.
He definitely isn't prepared for Richie Tozier to come into his life like a whirlwind and blow all of these pre conceived notions out of his mind and turn his whole life upside down.

“Well, I mean…” Richie starts, as if this entire situation was like any other reasonable discussion he’s had. “We can, if you really want to. I’m game.”
Eddie chokes on the coffee that was still running down his throat. He looks at Richie as if he’d just grown several heads. Surely it couldn’t be this simple, right? “Um, what?”
Richie remains nonchalant. “Roommates with benefits, you said? Not the worst idea ever.”
(Or, Eddie and Richie are roommates in college and one day decide to start casually hooking-up. Things go about as well as expected.)
UPDATE 20/09/19: for everyone asking, I will be posting the final chapter within the next few weeks.
