    The way Eddie keeps looking at Buck like he’s blowing things out of proportion is actually making everything worse.
    Because, look, Buck knows he probably is.
    Everyone is fine.
    Eddie didn’t get hurt. The girl is predicted to have a full recovery, and the guy is in jail already.
    And most importantly, no one got shot.
    No lasting damage is going to come from that last call.
    Not really.
    But, fuck, Buck is still shaking.
    He doesn’t shake like this after a call. Especially not after ones that ends in the best-case scenario
    But all he can think about is how he was like this when he was wearing Eddie’s blood.
    And that’s the real problem here.

    When Eddie had lied to Buck about all the things he claimed to not remember, he hadn’t purposely left this part out. No one had ever told him about this.
