Shane fixes him with his most withering glare. “Well, if I’m calling something boring, imagine how boring it actually is.”
“I know you are trying to trick me, Hollander,” Ilya states, raising a single brow. “But you will not deny me my right as your husband to see baby Shane in his tiny little skates.”

Summary
After their first time in Montreal, Ilya ghosts Shane for over a year, keeping himself at a distance long after Sochi. But when an MLH Awards forces them to present together, Ilya can't ignore Shane any longer and Shane won't let him. In a heated moment, they make a bet, whoever wins MVP gets whatever they want. What starts out exciting turns confusing when Shane wakes up hungover with a ring on his finger and Ilya nowhere to be found. He was ghosted again, by his husband?
Or: Shane and Ilya get married in Vegas and must weather the consequences (from each other and elsewhere) when they're actually in the same place, at the same time, and not being idiots about their feelings or their futures. There are two sides to every story, but it's about time they get on the same page.

Summary
After running out on Ilya post–tuna meltdown, Shane feels like absolute shit.
It’s not until the middle of the night, stuck in a hotel room with Hayden, Shane realises he quite literally feels like shit as he spills his guts out in front of his very worried roommate.
By morning, the game is cancelled—the Raiders are down with stomach flu… and so is the Metro’s Captain.
Stranded while the rest of the team flies home, Shane thinks he is left to suffer alone—until help arrives from the place he least expects it.
And to make matters worse, Hayden is starting to ask questions Shane really doesn’t want to answer.
