Summary
In a future world, it is possible to create full-grown humans in test tubes, complete with pre-uploaded knowledge, skills, and memories. With this technology banned for use in warfare, society has found another use for these creations - but only the rich can afford to order a custom-made spouse (or "Match"), and the country is wrought with controversy over the ethics of the practice.
Mike, at 23 years old, is the son of a mildly powerful politician, and his father supports the Match-making industry wholeheartedly. Mike is solidly against it, but what can he do? His family has him in a choke hold. Uphold the family image, or else. Just as Mike is planning his escape, his parents tell him the great news: they signed him up to order a Match!
Mike doesn't want some poor person to be created according to his every desire. It's wrong. With the help of Nancy, he hatches a plan.
Will isn't sure why he seems so different from the other Matches around him. He's not supermodel gorgeous, or amazingly athletic, or sweet and easygoing like a Match should be. He's worried. Did something go wrong? Was he supposed to be better? But despite his worries, his curiosity wins out. He's anxious to meet his partner.

Summary
It only took a moment before the physician smiled. “Well,” he said, with satisfaction. “That settles it. You are approximately nine weeks along, Your Highness.”
Nine weeks.
Without thinking, Will’s hand drifted down, resting against his lower abdomen. There was nothing there, not really. No visible change, no difference he could feel beneath his palm yet.
.........
or: As an Omega, Will knows what he was married for. It was merely to form a political alliance between their two kingdoms.
So when he finds himself pregnant, and Mike suddenly begins to care in ways he never did before, the reason seems obvious. It’s not love, it’s only the heir. And then, when he loses the baby, Will is certain he will lose everything else too.

Summary
Will could not help the question that burst from his lips, it had been ricocheting around his brain like a stray tennis ball and was simultaneously causing him the most excitement, distress and exhilaration he had felt in his entire life.
“Are you my husband?” he blurted. Mike blinked in surprise.
“What?”
Will lost his nerve slightly. He wondered if he had been horribly wrong about this, and maybe in this strange timeline he was just a friend staying over and maybe he’d made a mistake and the daughter wasn’t really his daughter and—
Will faltered. “Um, I — well, I just thought you were — I mean, you are my husband, right?”
Mike looked very alarmed. He was staring at Will as though he had grown a second head.
“Obviously…?” he said, “Are you feeling alright? Did your mom make you try her D-I-Y coffee again?”
When nineteen-year-old Will Byers wakes up to find himself in his forty-three-year-old body, he must—with no experience whatsoever—play the part of world-renowned freelance painter, father of two very troublesome teenagers, and most strangely of all: Mike Wheeler’s husband.

Summary
“That is dumb.” She blinked. “I do not care if Will brings a boy. Will is Will. He is kind. He should be able to go with us and a boy and have fun.”
“Exactly!” Dustin snaps. “Which is why I’m asking Will to be my prom date!”
Or
Dustin Henderson has a plan.
It is a good plan.
The fact that it may cause emotional fallout, accidental matchmaking, and unforeseen consequences is not his fault.
