Something clicks into place for Matt, a fitting together of two puzzle pieces, his flesh as one and Jay’s teeth as the other. “It’s like you’re trying to eat me,” he breathes, and finds himself far more turned on by the notion than he thought he would be. Not that he thought he’d be getting fucked by Jay tonight, or ever, or that he even knew he wanted to, or if he even wants to be ‘fucked’ in the gay way at all and not just eaten alive, but this is the closest he’ll ever get.

Jay knows that Matt can be mean, he’s experienced it first hand. But there’s something else Jay has noticed in Matt that he can’t quite describe.
Sometimes, on rare occasions, usually after hours of riffing and improvisation, Matt will start going down a particular path. The path starts with usual banter, then quickly devolves into violent fantasy. It always ends the same, Matt heavy breathing, excusing himself and leaving the room for a few minutes, then jumping back into skits and bits as if nothing happened. Leaving Jay wondering, yet again, if he’d just been imagining things.

He almost stammers out a nervous Hey, slow down, Birdie, but the words die in his throat. Would it really be bad to let him take it further? He clearly wants it. It's helping out a friend more than anything. Matt's personal feelings about how long and how deeply he's wanted exactly this are secondary. Tertiary, even. They're basically nothing, actually; he couldn't care less that this may be his only chance.
(Hoping to calm him down so they can plan, Matt gives Jay a little something that'll supposedly relax him. He gets a little more than he bargained for.)
